We are seeking a fundraiser to join our team.
New Note Projects is a Brighton based charity that uses music to help people sustain their recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. www.newnote.co.uk
We launched the first ever ‘recovery’ orchestra in the world in 2015. We have been cited as an exemplary model for recovery within the community *
We are looking for an experienced self-employed Fundraiser to work with us for up to six months to develop a sustainable funding model for New Note Projects through the diversification of income and grants that will enable the charity to expand and grow its activities.
The project scope includes
• Identifying appropriate sources of funding for New Note projects through the compilation of a data base of Trusts, Foundations and public funding bodies.
• Writing funding bids to Trusts, Foundations and Public Bodies with the Chief Executive
• Exploring opportunities to develop other non-restricted income streams e.g. donations, supporters, legacies.
The project will require input for 2 to 3 days a week and the remuneration will be based on a salary of £30,000 pro rata. We would anticipate agreeing the project plan and deliverables with the successful candidate.
