How was Solace created? During 2017, New Note Orchestra collaborated with artistic director Conall Gleeson to create a unique 30 minute score titled ‘Solace’. Alongside this new score, Angus Cameron a Lewes based film director, created an evocative film using archive from Screen South East. He weaved the archive with powerful thoughts and reflections from the orchestra members about how they find solace. The orchestra provided a live soundtrack to the film.
